Come Join Us For a Fairytale Evening of Fundraising!

We invite you to a magical evening at the Enchanted Forest: Where Dreams Come Alive—Atkinson Elementary's Spring 2026 Auction. The event will take place at Oaks Park Dance Pavilion and will bring together families, teachers, and local supporters to raise important funds for Atkinson’s programs, which provide K–5th grade students with a strong foundation for lifelong learning and discovery. Proceeds will support initiatives such as the Family Resiliency Fund and programs including Dia de los Muertos, Dia de los Ninos, the Lunar New Year celebration, Running Club, Basketball, and the Outdoor Learning Garden. Support our students by attending, bidding, donating, or sponsoring—every contribution directly benefits their educational experience. Join us in celebrating community, connection, and the magic of giving with us!

• The Online Silent Auction will be available from Friday, April 10th until Saturday, April 18 at 7pm.  We’ll have tons of great auction items to bid on, including the oh-so-popular parties and activities hosted by Atkinson families.

Where is the auction?

The auction will be at Oaks Park Dance Pavilion, located at 7805 SE Oaks Park Way. Metered parking is available on site and it's the responsibility of the guest to pay for it. 

What should I wear?

Elegant attire with an enchanted forest flair—bring the magic! Think sharp, dashing suits for men and flowing, fairytale-worthy gowns for women, all inspired by woodland wonder and storybook charm.

How do I buy tickets?

Early Bird Tickets are on sale now until February 10th! You can buy them here. Regular priced tickets are on sale from February 11th until February 27th. Tickets will sell out!

How will bidding work?

• The Online Auction will go live on Friday, April 10th and will stay open until 7pm on Saturday, April 18.  Don’t worry, we will remind you!  You’ll have all week to place your bids on the silent auction items.

• Stay tuned for Golden Ticket info. We will draw the lucky winner at the Live Auction on Saturday, April 18, but you do not need to be present to win. Only 100 tickets will be sold! Win an amazing item for only $50!

• All Live Auction packages will be exclusively available at the live event on April 18.  Keep an eye out for some sneak peeks.

Are children invited?

The live auction is an adult-only event.  Thank you for understanding.

Do you need volunteers for the event?

Why yes, we do!  We need a few people to volunteer to help with event set up, clean up, and registration. Please contact auction@atkinsonpta.org if you’re interested.

How do I donate an item? Sponsor the event? Sign up to host a party?

There’s still time to donate items/experiences, host a party, or sponsor the auction to make our biggest fundraiser of the year a success!  The deadline is Friday, April 3rd.  See below and contact auction@atkinsonpta.org with any questions.

Donate items for the auction

These auction items tend to bring in the most $$$:

• Vacation homes 

• Event tickets

• Unique Experiences (wine tastings, behind the scenes tour, spa days, cooking classes)

• Restaurant / Local business gift certificates (Where do you like to shop? Dine out?)

• Donate your expertise + time!  (Are you an interior designer?  Family photographer?  Tattoo Artist? Esthetician?  Can you help someone with their taxes?  Or teach them how to rock climb?)

Host a party

Each year Atkinson families host parties to help raise money for the school.  These can be kid only, adult only, or fun for the whole family. 

Party ideas could include:

• A progressive dinner

• A murder mystery or theme night

• Arts / Crafts How-Tos

• Clothing Swap Party

• Kid movie night

• Family Scavenger Hunt
